Hi everybody,

I worked on this drawing on and off in my spare time for a month. My main inspiration was an image of an intricate floral theme with a lady siren in the center. The stone ornaments came from there, but I wanted to make a color interpretation , since the reference was a black and white sketch.
She is a guardian of some sort trapped by a snake who desires the key.
This is my first time attempting to do a snake creature

I will post some close ups right after

I used Photoshop CS2 and a wacom tablet.
